Hitchcock’s fans, this one’s for you! There will be not one, but TWO screening of two biggest Hitchcock’s classics, Psycho and Rear Window!
FilmBar is screening Rear Window first and after a brief intermission, Psycho at its Roosevelt Row movie house at 815 North Second Street on Wednesday, May 19th.
In Psycho (1960), Phoenix secretary Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) steals $40,000 from her employer in order to run away with her boyfriend, Sam Loomis (John Gavin). She stops for the night at the ramshackle Bates Motel and meets the polite but highly strung proprietor Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), a young man with an interest in taxidermy and a difficult relationship with his mother.

Rear Window is a classic from 1954 with beautiful Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly. out What will a wheelchair-bound photographer (Stewart) find out while spying on his neighbors from his apartment window?
Fun Fact: Downtown Phoenix gets a brief a brief cameo in the opening scene for Psycho.
