D-BAT was founded in 1998 by Cade and Kyle Griffis. Since then, this lucrative business model has quickly grown to now over 75 locations with 20 additional locations being built currently.
The simple goal of Cade and Kyle Griffins was to provide an indoor facility that matched the level of quality players in the area. They certainly succeeded when their first facility in Texas became the top indoor Baseball and Softball training center in the country.
Today, D-BAT offers Franchise Training Facilities plus a full line of products including Wood bats, Gloves, Batting Gloves and Baseball and Softball Accessories…and more! Their main goal was to provide a quality teaching environment with professional instruction to enhance the baseball and softball experience for players at all levels and help them reach their goals. D-BAT began franchising operations in 2008 and today is the Largest network of training facilities in the country.
For over 20 years, D-BAT has impacted the playing careers of thousands of ballplayers. The mission of D-BAT is to: Provide a quality teaching environment with quality instruction to enhance the baseball experience for players at all levels from little league through the pros.
While the core demographic for a facility ranges from ages 6-18, the reality is some of MLB’s top prospects have trained at D-BAT and even more players have earned college scholarships.

At D-BAT Scottsdale the batting cages use real baseballs and softballs. All of their pitching machines will accommodate baseball along with slow pitch and fast pitch softball.

40mph, 50mph, 60mph, 70mph - Fast Pitch Softball

Cage Rentals are a great way to work your kid out individually or bring in a team in for batting practice. Cage Rentals are rented out on 1/2 hr. Each cage comes equipped with Baseballs/Softballs, “L-Screen”, and a batting tee.

At D-BAT Scottsdale, lessons are taught with the ballplayer as the focus while involving the parents during the lesson. They have great instructors who can instruct players at every level for improvement. However, their instructors can not be at the ballplayer’s games, so they rely on the parents for feedback on how the player is doing in game situations.
