Encanto Park

One of America’s Best City Parks according to Forbes is perfect place to have a lovely family picnic. Here you can rent a paddle boat, run around the giant play structure or head to Enchanted Island Amusement Park.

Steele Indian School Park

Located in the heart of Central Phoenix, in this park you’ll find acres of green grass and a giant bird-shaped lake. If you are up for some local history you can walk around the Circle of Life cistern in the middle of the park for a glimpse of three historic buildings and interpretive columns on the history of the Phoenix Indian School.

Visit Zookz at the north of the park and try their warm toasted sealed pockets. If you have sweet tooth, you must try pockets with sweet fillings including peanut butter and nutella.

Freestone Park

Two lakes, a skate park, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, softball fields, a few playgrounds and plenty of space for kids to run around – all this you can find at Freestone Park in Gilbert.

Here you’ll find everything for kids and adults who still feel like kids – from antique carousel, museum, playgrounds and a lot of green grass. You can ride the train and see the McCormick Historical Railroad Exhibit.

Sahauro Ranch Park

Here you’ll find softball fields, soccer fields and volleyball courts found throughout the 80-acre park. Bring your kids to this historic park (it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places) to one of the many playgrounds and EVOS park which is a unique suspended playground for kids ages 5 and older. Let your dog play and run in dog recreation park.
