Arizona Black Rodeo<\/a><\/strong>, in its 11th year<\/strong>, is one of the largest and most popular African-American cultural and educational events in Arizona<\/strong>, having attracted as many as 9,000<\/strong> rodeo fans across a weekend of fun and exciting Western experiences designed for the entire family.<\/p>\n

In 2021, the event drew thousands of enthusiastic rodeo fans. The event highlights local and national African American rodeo competitors. There will be two shows Friday, September 2nd 7:00PM and Saturday, September 3rd, 7:00PM<\/strong> featuring bull riding, tie down roping, steer wrestling, steer undecorating, ladies barrel racing, relay races and the crowd favorite mutton bustin’ & calf scramble for the little ones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Round up your family and friends and join us for the “hottest show on dirt.”<\/strong> The Arizona Black Rodeo is fun and exciting for the entire family and rated triple “E” Educational, Entertaining and for Everyone.<\/strong> The Rodeo runs on average 2 hours 15 mins.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The AZBR Committee is committed to keeping the contributions of African-American western heritage alive by offering a fun, family-oriented event for residents and visitors alike.<\/em><\/p>\n
