Arizona Opera<\/a><\/strong>‘s 50th Anniversary Main Stage Series concludes with an all new production of Mozart<\/a><\/strong>‘s Cos\u00ec fan tutte<\/a><\/strong> led by director E. Loren Meeker<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cos\u00ec fan tutte tells the story of two sisters who are falsely led to believe that their fianc\u00e9s have been called to war. In truth, their lovers were only out to test their fidelity<\/strong>, so they return home\u2014in disguise\u2014to seek the truth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the delightful cast of characters in this Mozart classic are Despina<\/strong>, the nosy maid, and Don Alfonso<\/strong>, a philosopher who is actually behind the scenes pulling the strings and making it all happen.<\/p>\n

This season finale production will also celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the company’s Marion Roose Pullin Opera Studio<\/a><\/strong>, with former artists joining current program members under the baton of Karen Kamensek<\/a><\/strong>, who conducted the Metropolitan Opera<\/a><\/strong>‘s wildly successful production of Phillip Glass’ Akhnaten in the 2019\/20 Season.<\/p>\n
