Since the ancient times, the Moon was the subject people’s interests. There are poems, stories, songs, paintings and more inspired by our beautiful Moon. Not to mention a spiritual and health connections we have with our Earth’s satellite.<\/p>\n
That is why today we’re inviting you to Moon Meditation in the Garden<\/a><\/strong> happening from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 25<\/strong>, at the Japanese Friendship Garden, 1125 North Third Avenue<\/a><\/strong>. Led by Biophilia instructors, it will include soothing sounds from chimes and ocean drums. Please, bring water and a yoga mat or blanket. Tickets are $50<\/strong>, which includes a Biophilia moon healing kit to take home. If you want more time to explore the garden, you can arrive as early as 5 p.m.<\/p>\n The Japanese Friendship Garden<\/a><\/strong>, named RoHoEn<\/strong>, is a joint project of the City of Phoenix and our Sister City Himeji, Japan. \u200bThe Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix, RoHoEn is an authentic 3.5 acre Japanese Stroll Garden with a tea garden and a tea house<\/strong>. This tranquil and beautiful setting features more than 1,500 tons of hand-picked rock, stone foot bridges, lanterns and more than 50 varieties of plants. As you stroll the path, you will enjoy flowing streams, a 12-foot waterfall, and a Koi pond with over 300 colorful Koi fish.
