Explore this beautiful and unique castle, a true testimony of father’s love.<\/p>\n

Boyce Luther Gulley <\/strong>built Gulley Mystery Castle<\/a><\/strong> in the 1930s for his daughter Mary Lou Gulley<\/strong>. When Boyce found he’s very ill, he began building a dream castle for his “princess.” Shortly after he died, his daughter and her mother moved in.<\/p>\n

Mystery Castle is located in Phoenix’s South Mountain Park<\/a> <\/strong>and has eighteen rooms, thirteen fireplaces, parapets, a tavern, a wedding chapel, a wine cellar and many charming nooks and crannies which are furnished with southwestern antiques.<\/p>\n

Outside you’ll see mosaic-tiled multicolored patios and a homemade doghouse.<\/p>\n

The castle is made from rocks, bricks, old car parts and everything that Mr. Gulley found nearby.<\/p>\n

The Mystery Castle has been designated as a Phoenix Point of Pride<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
