Their meat cooler is filled with premium bone-in pork, hanger steaks, and super porterhouses. On Thursdays they offer  $2 oysters, on Fridays “chowdah” and on Wednesday the best damn “lobstah” roll of your life.

Khyber Halal Restaurant

This restaurant mixes the cuisines of Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. Recently Khyber Halal was named one of the best new restaurants by Arizona Republic critic Howard Seftle. Here you’ll eat amazing veggie samosas, curries, spicy pilaf dishes, and meaty kabobs alongside lesser-known delicacies like badanjan (smoky eggplant stewed topped with a tangy yogurt sauce, mantoo (beef-filled dumplings covered in spiced tomato sauce and yogurt) and uzbek pulaw (one skewer of seasoned chunks of lamb served with Afghani rice with raisins and carrots and a salad).
