The best pizza places in Scottsdale

Today we’re presenting you the best pizza places in Scottsdale. Let’s just say they all know how to make an authentic Neapolitan pizza and they’re all using Italian oven and only the freshest and the best ingredients!

Bon Appétit!

Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana

Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana offers an authentic Neapolitan pizza that is made according to traditional criteria. They make their pizza in an imported Italian oven which reaches 900 degrees and delivers a pizza that cooks in 60-90 seconds, creating the venerable Neapolitan pie with its traditional wet center and puffy, char-flecked crust. Owner Stefano Fabbri says that the traditional oven is the reason why their pizza is so fresh and juicy, an authentic pizza Napoletana. We recommend the Bufala Verace topped with basil, San Marzano tomatoes, and creamy rounds of imported mozzarella di bufala. In addition to Scottsdale location, there are Gilbert, Phoenix and Biltmore locations too.

LAMP Wood Oven Pizzeria

The owner Matt Pilato is sure he has created the perfect texture for his artisan pizzas: “I’m always looking for a balance between crispy on the outside and soft in the middle with a little bit of chew.” He is so determined that the ingredients have been chosen through ambitious blind tasting sessions and his pies spend three to five minutes in a 700-degree oven. He says: “I do my own spin on it, so we’re a little different than Neapolitan.” Isn’t this the best invite? You just have to taste Matt’s pizza!

Craft 64

Their pizzas are made from scratch and adorned with ingredients from local farms like Mcclendon’s Farms and baked in Mugnaini wood-fired ovens imported from Italy. They utilize a Hayden Mills heirloom variety wheat flour for our pizza crust. This allows for a healthier, cleaner option for our crusts, since they don’t have to add any fats of any type to get it to cook. Their dough has a 3-day rise time, and is punched down twice daily – this gives it a truly memorable taste and texture, and a light-weight finish. They also make their own mozzarella! There is one location in Chandler too!
