Cholla and Saguro Course, We-Ko-Pa Golf Club

We-Ko-Pa has two amazing courses, both of them highly ranked, the original Cholla course and the Saguro. The Cholla course (designed by Scott Miller) is a game of classic target golf and offers dramatic vistas across the McDowell, Red, Metal, and Verde River Mountains.

Ranked by Golfweek as the best public course in Arizona, Saguro offers a great desert golfing experience.

Boulders Resort & Spa

Jay Morrish designed both the North and South golf courses.

The older of the two, the North Course has incredible panoramic views of the surrounding desert and a fine collection of challenging holes.The South Course is even more beautiful – rock formations are more common here and you you will experience the signature “Boulder Pile” and also “Rosie’s Rock” two of the resort’s most impressive rock formations.

Raptor and Talon Course, Grayhawk Golf Club

Grayhawk Golf Club offers two amazing courses Raptor and Talon, both of which are pay and play. The Raptor course is designed by Tom Fazio. It’s hosted the Frys.com event on the PGA Tour as well as the Andersen Consulting World Championship of Golf (now a WGC event). Since the renovation in 2015, it became bigger and tougher than ever.

The Talon is amazingly scenic and the back nine are built around a series of deep box canyons with thick stands of Ironwood, Mesquite and Palo Verde trees.

Stadium Course, TPC Scottsdale

TPC Scottsdale has hosted the Phoenix Open since 1987 and is one of the largest-attended golf tournament in the world. The fan favorite Waste Management Phoenix Open is famous for the iconic 16th hole is completely enclosed by stands to create an amazing amphitheatre that is unquestionably the loudest in golf. Since TPC Scottsdale is Arizona’s only PGA Tour facility, it offers recreational golfers the opportunity to experience the standards and service that are normally reserved for professional players.

Pinnacle and Monument Course, Troon North Golf Club

“Crown jewel” of the Scottsdale courses, Troon North Golf Club offers two magnificent 18-hole courses that take golfers on a glorious ride through the desert through scenic foothills and natural ravines in the cool shadows of Pinnacle Peak.

The Pinnacle Course is designed by Tom Weiskopf and has an amazing set of par-3s and the course architect has masterfully renovated both courses recently.

Monument remains one of the most highly regarded layouts in the area, demanding great accuracy and a fine touch on the lightning-fast greens.
