National and international flamenco dancers and musicians perform unforgettable shows that change, so no two performances are the same.

Julia Chacón Flamenco Theatre brings the power of internationally experienced flamenco dancers and musicians to Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts‘ Stage 2 every Friday and Saturday night in October. You will enjoy beautiful costumes, undulating arms, fiery footwork, intricate Spanish guitar, and soul-stirring vocals come together to deliver an unforgettable show.

Chacón, who has more than 15 years of international performing and production experience, founded Inspiración Flamenca (now known as Julia Chacón Flamenco Theatre) in 2008 with the mission of celebrating the community nature of flamenco and promoting cultural understanding through this rich and complex art.

Performances on October 29 and 30 conclude with a post-show Q&A discussing how 75 years of Spanish dance in the Valley has contributed to the arts in Arizona. Artists will perform works inspired by the four focal artists of the Spanish Legacies exhibition in the ArtReach space adjacent the venue.
