Astronomy Nights at the MCC Planetarium

MCC Planetarium is reopening to the public, which means that Astronomy Nights are back!

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the following policies have been put in place. Theater capacity has been reduced by half to allow for a 3-foot social distancing minimum. All tickets must be reserved ahead of time. Masks are mandatory while indoors, and strongly encouraged while outdoors on campus. Shows will be starting every hour to allow for disinfection of the theater between showings.

Mesa Community College invites the public to explore our amazing Universe in their state-of-the-art Planetarium located on the Southern & Dobson Campus!

MCC Astronomy Nights are held on the first Friday of the month during February, March, April, & May and September, October, November, & December.

MCC Astronomy Nights include planetarium shows, telescope viewing, information tables, hands-on activities, and more! Planetarium shows and indoor activities occur rain or shine, but telescope viewing of the night sky is only offered when the sky is clear.

All tickets to planetarium shows on Astronomy Nights must be reserved online through PurplePass.
